  Curator's words
  從藝術史的角度來看，藝術的進步和發展，不但體現為主題、題材和內容的變化，也呈現為形式和風格的嬗變。其中，不斷的創新是藝術發展的內在動力。From the perspective of art history,the progress and development of art is embodied not only in the change of theme,subject and content,but also in form and style.Among them,the constant innovation is the inner driving force of the development of art.
  對藝術創作而言，創新有兩個基本含義，其一，創新是打碎日常生活的陳腐和平庸，以別樣的方式為人們提供新的視野和體驗；其二，創新還意味著不斷地超越前人，創造出新的形式和新的風格。前者是藝術創新對外（社會的）啟迪功能，后者是藝術創新對內（藝術自身的）變革的功能。For artistic creation,innovation has two fundamental meanings.One is that innovation means breaking the banality and mediocrity in daily life and provide people with new vision and experience in original ways.The other is that innovation represents constant surpassing the predecessors and creating new forms and styles.The former serves as enlightenment to society(outside world)while the latter functions as artistic innovation to the art itself(inside world).
  鑒于此，壹葉堂為拓展設計師/青年學子的創新能力，自今日將陸續邀請全球68國的322名設計師的佳作加以呈現，期望能在創作上為您開啟一扇新的大門！for the reasons above,Yiyetang will progressively invite 322 designers from 68 countries in the world to display their works,aiming at expand the creative ability of designers and young students from today,we hope to help you open a new door in your creation.
